Ashford Riverside Park Townhouses CGI

On Saturday, 15 August we launched the sales of second phase townhouses at our Riverside Park development in Ashford, Kent. The project represents a multi-million-pound investment by GRE Assets and is set to be the cornerstone of the town’s exciting regeneration plans. Once complete, Riverside Park will encompass 246 apartments, 26 townhouses and a new public realm.

Given the impact coronavirus has had on the housing market, the progression of Riverside Park represents a positive step for GRE Assets. Below, we have compiled everything you need to know about the latest phase of the development and the opportunities it presents.

Launch event – Saturday, 15 August

Following the successful completion of phase one in 2019, the first 35 properties of phase two at Riverside Park are now complete, with a further 35 homes set for completion in Q4 2020. This means that both investors and potential residents can start to reserve townhouses as part of phase two.

To celebrate this, we hosted a launch event at Riverside Park, which gave people the opportunity to experience the townhouses in person and benefit from exclusive incentives such as deposit contributions and furniture vouchers. The event was by appointment only and adhered to social distancing guidelines throughout.

Comment from our Managing Director

Michael El-Kassir, Managing Director of GRE Assets, said: “We are extremely proud to launch the sales of the second phase homes at our Riverside Park project, as it represents the culmination of a lot of hard work, particularly over the last few months.

“Understandably given both the national and global situation, we faced some challenges along the way, but this represents a positive step in the right direction. As a company, GRE Assets has already experienced an increase in enquiries and we can see there is a strong demand to move home.

“Our launch event on Saturday was a huge success and received a good turnout, while adhering to social distancing guidelines. We now look forward to welcoming our next residents in the near future.”

How do the properties lend themselves to modern living?

Each home has been designed in a contemporary, open plan living style, which can be adapted to suit residents’ needs. Given the recent shift to flexible working, future Riverside Park residents will be able to easily work from home, in spaces that are designed to be adaptable and versatile. The provision of Hyperoptic broadband not only guarantees high speed internet, but also residents will be able to connect within minutes rather than months as is often the case.

Riverside Park’s apartments and townhouses are also equipped with balconies and private residents’ terraces overlooking the Great Stour River and nearby Victoria Park. This proximity to green space, while remaining only a short walk from the town centre, is of real benefit to future residents, who have come to value outdoor space even more.
