Operations Manager, Victoria Eaton, joined the GRE Assets team in February 2014 as Senior Office Manager. Following the birth of her daughter and maternity leave, she returned to the company in July 2020 and plays a vital role in ensuring everything runs smoothly.

With a degree in BA French and Spanish, Modern Languages from the University of Exeter, Victoria started her career in hospitality. She brings her experience of operations and her organisation skills to her current role at GRE Assets.

In this interview, Victoria shares how her role fits into the wider business, what she works on day-to-day and why she believes GRE Assets is unique.

What does your role as Operations Manager involve?

As Operations Manager, I manage the smooth running of the day-to-day operations systems and processes within both our department and the company as a whole. I work closely with our Senior Operations Manager, Andrew Topping, to ensure we achieve this. The operations department tends to be involved in most aspects of the company, but I have a particular focus on property management and administration.

What projects do you work across, and what do you enjoy most?

I’m involved in most aspects of the company to some degree, but the majority of my role involves liaising with our clients to ensure that we are providing an excellent service for them. This is what GRE Assets has built its reputation on, so it’s extremely important. I really enjoy the variety of the role and the fact that there is always something new to learn.

What makes GRE Assets unique?

We offer a really special service for our clients; we can manage all aspects of their investment. This is a really unique offering as it means if they’d like us to, everything can be handled in one place, from asset management and legal services to tax advice and exit strategy. Our clients also have peace of mind knowing that they are dealing with an established and trusted company with a strong track record.
